What type of clothing should I wear to the Conference?

ARN encourages attendees to wear business casual attire during the day and cocktail attire for evening events such as the Opening Night Reception and ARN Awards.

How long is the exhibit hall open?

The ARN Revenue Conferece & Exhibition Hall opens Monday, March 12, at 7 p.m. during our Opening Night Reception. After this event the hall is continuously open from 7:30 am – 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

What should I expect from the Opening Night Reception?

The ARN Revenue Conference & Exhibition Opening Night Reception is the must-attend, high-energy kickoff of conference. It is a premier networking opportunity and a chance to experience the offerings of exhibitors.

Are meals provided at the Conference?

The ARN Revenue Conference offers a continental breakfast all three days of the show. While lunch is not offered on the Day 1 of the show (Monday), lunch is offered on Day 2 and Day 3. Dinners are not included but provide a great opportunity for you to network on your own.

Do I have to purchase a ticket for the Awards Dinner?

The 2017 ARN Awards Banquet tickets are available at for $150.

How do I sign up for the Airport Tour?

Because space is extremely limited, registration for the ARN Airport tour is conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis, and only registered attendees are eligible to participate. If you have not already registered, you will not receive information on the tour.

How do I participate in the Schmooze Sessions?

The ARN Schmooze Sessions are brief, speed dating-like meetings where attendees have a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with participating airport representatives, developers and, food and retail operators. To qualify to participate in the schmooze sessions you must be a registered ARN conference attendee. You will then receive an email invitation to participate in the Schmooze with the date and time when the selection process will go live.

How do I get from the Airport to the Conference?

While ARN does not provide transportation from the airport, Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport is 14 miles from the Hyatt Regency and is taxi and ridesharing service friendly. There is also a shuttle that drops off at the major downtown hotels – NOLA Airport Shuttle.


I have signed up to exhibit, and I would like to sample my product at my booth. Are there any restrictions?

ARN has negotiated the waiving of corkage fees for the 2017 Conference & Exhibition. There will be fees should the Hyatt need to store or handle your product. ARN encourages you to take advantage of this no-corkage benefit, which will increase foot traffic to your exhibit space and allow them to experience your concept.

How do I order items for my exhibit space, such as carpet, tables, chairs, electricity, etc.?

As a registered exhibitor you should have received an exhibitor kit from Paul Angelino at US Tradeshows. When is move-in/move-out for the ARN Conference & Exhibition?


How long will it take me to set up my booth?

While it varies based on the complexity of your booth/exhibit space layout, ARN recommends that you allow yourself ample time to set up your space. ALL booths must be ready for the show by 5 p.m. on Monday evening. Any booths not yet set up will incur forced labor costs by ARN and US Tradeshows in order to finish the installation.

How long is the exhibit hall open?

The ARN Revenue Conferece & Exhibition Hall opens Monday, March 13, at 7 p.m. during our Opening Night Reception. After this event the hall is open from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Wednesday. After 2 p.m. on Wednesday, tear-down will begin. The exhibit hall is open during these periods because ARN believes in allowing exhibitors every opportunity to meet and conduct business with current and prospective clients.

Do I need to be at my booth the entire time the exhibit hall is open?

While ARN encourages all exhibitors to continuously have their booths manned, there are peak hours we suggest your booths be appropriately staffed, and there will be optimal periods to sample. If you are sampling or serving food and/or drink: Monday evening during the Opening Night Reception, Tuesday during breakfast, lunch, breaks and the hall happy hour (4:30-6 p.m.), Wednesday during breakfast, lunch and breaks.

When is booth tear-down?

Booth tear-down begins on Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. Due to the continuous flow of attendees and business being conducted on the show floor, early teardowns are strictly prohibited and subject to fines.

What are some suggestions for having a productive conference?

Engage, engage, engage. Speak to as many airports and operators as you come across, regardless of whether you feel they are someone you would be interested in partnering with. The airport food and retail industry is a very close-knit community, and you never know when or where an introduction will be made or an opportunity will be revealed.

Sample or raffle. If you are a food concept, sample your product. ARN has worked to negotiate with the Hyatt to waive corkage fees. We encourage you to take advantage of this and use it as an opportunity for attendees to experience your product. Collect business cards to do a prize drawing and work with ARN to announce winners.
